Drop’n’Hop

The “Fun Starts Here” at Drop ’n’ Hop Play Café. We are your one stop play center for providing active play areas for everyone. CHECK OUR OUR MULTI-SPORT SIMULATORS WHERE THERE IS FUN FOR ALL AGES and for the littles, our toddler area includes gross motor, fine motor and tactile environments. We can host your next birthday party in one of our party rooms or you are welcome to rent the entire facility after hours for larger groups.

Drop ‘n’ Hop Play Cafe is Central Alberta’s local indoor playground and activity centre located in the town of Sylvan Lake. We offer traditional indoor playground general admission with a variety of play environments to choose from.

Sports Simulator

These are basic rules for entry.
The purpose of these conditions is to ensure all our children and adults feel comfortable and safe while playing and enjoying our space.

Important

Please do not visit any Drop’n’Hop Play Cafe Indoor Playground and Sports Zone if you or your child has experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 48-72 hours.

Rules

Adult Supervision required at all times unless utilizing our hourly drop-in service.
Everyone MUST wear socks at all times.
Please keep balls inside the ball area.
No climbing up the slides, nets or poles.
No rough play.
No outside food or beverages permitted including chewing gum, as well as no food or beverages on the play area.
No shoes to be worn on the play equipment.
No sharp objects such as pens, pencils and jewellery.
We are not liable for lost or stolen personal items or toys.
Children who are sick must refrain from using the facility.

This is exactly what sylvan needed! I took my 6 month and 18 month old and they were entertained there for over an hour! The facility was very clean and the staff were so kind! I think I had more fun at the sensory table than them! Their favourite was the magnet wall for sure!!
I love how the sitting area still has full view of the play place so you can sit and still watch your kids play!!

Visited on May long weekend 2024.
My kids (almost 2 years old and 6 years old) really enjoyed it. The toddler area and ballpit were great for my younger kid and the slides and climbing areas entertained my older kid.
We had a snack (chips & juice boxes, very reasonably priced) and the adults had coffee (good coffee!!!).
Bathrooms were clean and stocked.
Layout of the place is good, you can sit and enjoy your coffee and watch the kids pretty much everywhere.

A very fun and colorful place to bring kids of all ages. You can play for hours alone I’m sure in the sand and general area where the little houses, slides, and kid movies are playing. I was impressed with the clean bathrooms and where you can play a bowling game on the simulator. I want to go sit and enjoy a coffee and snack and would see that having a birthday party here would be a great way to spend your time and money. The party room was bright and inviting. A very friendly staff member showed me around.
